Baccarat Rules

With baccarat rules, the game of baccarat is perhaps one of the easiest games that you will find either at an online casino or land based casino. Baccarat they are finding is becoming one of the more popular games at both online and land based casinos.

Baccarat rules are very easy to learn and learning while playing at an online casino it is to your advantage. You have the opportunity of taking your time as you are not holding people up as if you were playing at a land based casino.

At most online casinos you have the opportunity of playing their free version before you decide to play for real money. At most online casinos you will find they offer baccarat played with as many as six decks of cards.

At most online casinos the baccarat rules state that there must be one player who plays against the banker --online casino--, who also acts as the dealer. With baccarat the idea of playing is to see who can get a hand point total as close to 9 over the course of a 2 or 3 card hand.

Starting a hand of baccarat, the dealer deals both the player and the banker each 2 cards, starting with the player and who ever has the hand closest to 9 without going over is the winner.

The baccarat rules are as following regarding the point values of different cards. With face cards and tens all value of zero; Aces through nine are worth their face value with the Ace worth one point. When you get a hand that goes over 10, your hand point total is reduced by ten. An example would be if you were dealt an 8 and a 9 your point total would be 17, 10 would be subtracted leaving you with a hand total of 7.

When placing your bets at most online casinos, a player may place a bet on the current player’s hand that it will win, that the banker’s hand will win or that there will be a tie. With some casinos they will have a payback of 2 for 1 on bets made on either the player’s hand or banker’s hand, minus a 5% commission on a winning banker’s hand bet. Also at some casinos they will pay back 9 for 1 on those hands that tie and you are the winner.
